The KOBRA electric Fatbike complies with Dutch laws and regulations. The Fatbike has a supported top speed of 25km/h and is equipped with unique pedal assistance. Thanks to the developed technology with 5 unique pedal assistance modes, you can choose to do the work yourself in mode 1 or maximum power with minimal effort in mode 5. This makes the illegal throttle for the KOBRA completely unnecessary. The motor power is maximum 250W and thus completely legal for use on public roads. Furthermore, it is equipped with reflectors, front light, rear light with brake light and a horn, so that you are also safe on the road at night. In addition, the KOBRA Fatbike was recently tested by the Dutch Inspectorate for the Environment & Transport, which it passed with flying colors!Click here for more information about this inspection.
KOBRA Insured Again Thanks to Renewed Fatbike Insurance
It took a while but it's finally here! As of February 2024, the KOBRA Fatbike is insurable again! Thanks to the unique renewed cooperation between KOBRA BIKES, FRIS Opsporing and a leading Dutch insurance company.

When your KOBRA BIKE's odometer starts flashing, it means your bike is due for service. This happens automatically after a certain number of miles ridden to ensure that your bike remains in top condition and any wear and tear is addressed in a timely manner.
You can easily get this taken care of by scheduling a service at an authorized service partner. More information on maintenance and scheduling a service can be found on our warranty and maintenance page.
CAUTION: Schedule the service in good time so that the warranty does not expire!
KOBRA Bikes has service partners and outlets throughout the Netherlands. These partners can be found in our Dealer & Service Map. On this map you can find all our service partners and dealers who are specialized in servicing your KOBRA Fatbike. Is there no service partner near you? No problem! Please contact us at . We will send you to a local bike shop as soon as possible. Should that not be possible, we will come and repair on location. Service and warranty for the KOBRA Fatbike is always guaranteed!
The capacity of our Fatbike battery is 768wh, which is huge and currently the largest in the Fatbike market! Charging the battery is easy with the supplied charger. This charger is equipped with an EU plug and can be plugged into a regular outlet. Once you connect the battery to the charger, the light on the charger will indicate whether it is still charging (red) or fully charged (green). Fully charging the battery takes 4 to 6 hours and takes about 0.75 kilowatt hours of power, after which you can drive at least 80km on full power again! Want to take a longer ride? Then it is useful to know that the KOBRA Fatbike battery is replaceable. You can easily swap it with a fully charged spare battery.A spare battery can be ordered directly in our webshoporyou can choose to order it directly with the purchase of the Fatbike.
Do you want to buy a Fatbike? Then the KOBRA is an excellent choice! But how do you get it from your screen to your home? There are several ways! The KOBRA Fatbike can easily be ordered online or in store at one of our dealers. Do you decide to order the Fatbike online? Then we will deliver it to your location or you can choose to simply pick it up at the dealer.
For the delivery of the KOBRA we offer the following options:
- Ready-to-ride delivery on location (NL)
This option is the most frequently chosen option and also the option we recommend. Ready-to-ride delivery on location is a personal delivery, possible to any address in the Netherlands. During the preparation the specialized KOBRA team ensures that your KOBRA is immediately ready for use. The bike is fully assembled, after which everything is checked and checked. Then the brakes are braked so that they have the least chance of unnecessary brake noise and the best braking effect. The delivery time of the ready-to-ride delivery to your location in the Netherlands is approximately 3-5 working days. Our team will contact you to arrange a delivery date as soon as possible. - Ready to drive pick up at a KOBRA dealer
Would you prefer to pick up the KOBRA yourself at one of our dealers? No problem. All our dealers can be found on the dealer map on our homepage. Do you see a dealer where you would like to pick it up? Choose this option and mention in the order comments which dealer it is. Our team will contact you to schedule an appointment for you to pick up your new KOBRA FatBike. Usually this is already possible within 1-5 working days! We offer this option for free! - Delivery on location (NL - self-assembly)
Are you handy and would you rather assemble the KOBRA yourself? Of course you can! Then choose this delivery method. We will then deliver KOBRA to your location via one of our shipping partners still packed in a box. You can then assemble KOBRA yourself in a few simple steps using the manual. This will take about 60 to 90 minutes. The disadvantage is that the brakes have to be applied manually. This can cause brake noise if not done correctly. Therefore, we recommend choosing the drive-in option. The delivery time is faster and this shipping method is free! With on-site delivery (self-assembly), your KOBRA FatBike will be delivered to you within 1-3 business days.
